Legacies of Elf Khurafeh Shrine
In 2011, Shriners International instituted a program to recognize multiple generations of Shriners. This program promised to honor Shriners that "keep it in the family" with a new legacy pin, among other things. It also is intended to encourage families to continue the historic tradition from one generation to the next. The program would recognize fathers, sons, grandfathers, grandsons, uncles, nephews, brothers, and in-laws.
“From beashrinernow.com we have noticed an overwhelming number of people want to join the fraternity so they can have the opportunity to be a part of the same brotherhood as their father, grandfather, or other family member,” said Randy Rudge, membership development director of Shriners International. "This program is designed to create awareness and inspire families to participate in legacies, carrying on the tradition their family started.”
