Legacies of Elf Khurafeh Shrine
In 2011, Shriners International launched a program to honor families with multiple generations of Shriners. This initiative aims to recognize those who "keep it in the family" by providing a new legacy pin, among other honors. The program encourages families to pass down this historic tradition from one generation to the next. It acknowledges relationships such as fathers, sons, grandfathers, grandsons, uncles, nephews, brothers, and in-laws.
“From beashrinernow.com, we have noticed an overwhelming number of people want to join the fraternity so they can have the opportunity to be a part of the same brotherhood as their father, grandfather, or other family member,” said Randy Rudge, membership development director of Shriners International. "This program is designed to create awareness and inspire families to participate in legacies, carrying on the tradition their family started.”
